I am a picky person when it comes to my tech. I try to stick with big names and limit the number of vendors to the absolute minimum. I don’t want to have to rely on apps and code programmed and distributed on the internet. I currently have a google home ecosystem. For my automation controller I’m using SmartThings. I have Wemo switches and hue bulbs and a couple lifx light strips. Here’s my question. I just had some yard work work done and would love to put the outdoor hue pathway lights in but the cost is a bit much if I can avoid it. So what is out there, if anything, that is comparable to hue for outside lights? I’m looking at about 7 pathway lights and 2 to 3 light strips.
