Question

Help, when I use the microphone button on my Fire TV, it hears the command, says OK, then changes the TV input from input 2 which is the Fire TV, to input 3 which is nothing, and then stays there and does not continue to execute the command. This happens on both my Fire TVs. Any ideas on how to fix this? Pretty much makes the Alexa built into Fire TV useless.

1. Check for and updaye software on firestick. 2. Check for and update firmware on Smart TV. 3. Call Amazon Firestick support. :)

0. Move Fire TV to input 3 - problem solved.

@lublin thanks. I actually found a setting in the menu to select which input the Five TV was plugged into. Mine was set to HDMI 3, so changing it to HDMI 2 solved my problem.
