A bit off topic.  A friend’s dog just had puppies.A bit off topic. A friend’s dog just had puppies. She wants to set up a puppy cam for friends to see the pups. I’m thinking that a cloud based cam would be best. Any suggestions. Would a Wyze cam work? Thanks

I have a few of their cameras and they work fine for me. One is in my shop which is a few miles from my house. Have Internet there and just hooked via the Wyze interface. I do not subscribe to cloud storage for those cameras.

To use Wyze, each person would need to install wyze on their phones, create an account, and she would need to share the camera with each person. Probably more of a hassle than it's worth. A basic web/ip camera would probably be best. Would need to set up port forwarding on her router to allow outside traffic in to view it.

@raddi Thanks agree with IP cam but hoping to avoid port forwarding

Unless you have a router that supports vlans I would not do this. IP cams are too easily hackable and would be a big risk for letting people into your network

@symposiac829 it's an app. people you want to share it with need the app too, and you can share it with specific people

I ended up recommending the Waze. Do they still need the RTSP If only using the Waze app.

Ok. They will just be using the Wyze app so no need for the RTSP. I might try setting up a Wyze IP Can using RTSP and Blue Iris for myself.
