How often do you hear from Alexa: “Hmm, I’m having trouble understanding you right now”? For me it’s happening too often lately.

Rarely do I hear that, but my randomly blurts out stuff in a quiet room. Most recently it scared the hell out of me by blurting “a back patio” and that was it. Nothing in the log to say why.

I had that problem all the time. That’s why I do google. You can say common phrases and it knows what to do.

It’s a connectivity issue. Usually Internet or DNS but could be your Wi-Fi. I’ve not heard this for years and it shouldn’t be a common occurrence.

Have you made any changes to your Wifi system? I have a mesh system, and I chanced a setting in it. I had to re-setup all my Alexas. They were all saying that.

A Davis no. I have the Eero Pro system, it’s usually one or two specific Echos giving me issues, the dot in our master bedroom and the Ecobee Echo in the living room.

If you are currently on 2. 4 Wi-Fi and have the capability try changing to 5mhz Wi-Fi. 2. 4 suffers from to much interference including leakage from microwave ovens
