Can’t find the answer I’m looking for online, so I’m gonna see if I can get some help here. Im trying to find the best way to power a poe injector for a small 6u rack. Should I use a regular plug in DC adapter, or use an actual DC power supply? What is the proper and best way to power them while staying small and not expensive. I can also leave the power block part out of the rack to help keep heat down. Lots of options. Some photos or links to some sample products would help me be able to search it.

Take a look at microcenter. com for some ideas on the products, then buy them in Amazon. DC supply would be nice if you plan to expand on the future. There are DC supplies that fit in the rack as well.

Orozco, wish they had a rackmount power supply with 220v, 110v, and 60v DC all in one!

I never seen one, it would be a custom project. I don't know how confident you are in electronics it would be something cool to build. Other option is I can help you to design it and build it free of charge on my free time, if you pay for the components

Orozco, that would be a pretty wicked project. I’d have to do some research. I’ll let you know if it’s something I could tackle.

Sure, no worries. And, if it is something a little intimidating let me know as well. I can produce it at my shop for a decent price too.

I will ask some of my customers if I can share some pictures with you to give you some ideas, but I don't promise anything.
