I’ve had the brookstone big blue party outside for over 6 years no issues. Even fell in the pool once. Great sound above average bass. But the thing is indestructible and lasts me hours on battery. If you can find one I highly recommend.

Mini rig, hands down outstanding, for your budget you can add the sub. The only way to know how good these are is to hear one in person or read the entire thread on the speakerplans website.

If you were to setup your own “hub” with Z-Wave and zigbee radios running Home Assistant is there any advantage to running on a full blown PC versus a Raspberry Pi?

Not exactly sure if this is a smart home question but I’m thinking of switching my home from cable/internet to internet only and I was wondering what would be a good WiFi speed mbps to run my devices and phones?
