Hey you guys!  I’m new to the group, but I’ve had a Google Home system for maybe a year or so now.Hey you guys! I’m new to the group, but I’ve had a Google Home system for maybe a year or so now. I’m trying to expand into my backyard and metal shed, my question is how can I extend my WiFi (Cox’s Panoramic system) out there? And if I was to use extenders, would the Google Assistant be able to control whole house?

Try a powerdata line, sometimes they work, they can be hit or miss, or run some data cable down

If you can, run cAT6. If not. Look at a P2P system. Wirelessly transmit the signal from the house to the shed with Ubiquiti kit

Outdoor wireless access point, extenders are terrible and reduce signal by half in order to cover the extra distance.

@boyhood2568 We've had great success with our outdoor offerings. What products are you deploying?

@boyhood2568 That's interesting. We use the AN-700-AP-O-AC pretty often and have solid coverage even in large spaces like the picture. I'm guessing you've contacted SnapAV for support but if not they're very responsive and will spend the time to get the settings dialed in for your specific application.

I have a repeater in my garage and between that and the 3 in my house I get great wifi all over my property.
