@francium63 webcore is a platform for smartthings users, each program you write is called a piston

@noe43117 Thanks. I will look into it. Just hope I don't have to write code. I am an old dog. Would have been more appropriate (for the home) to call them hammers.

@francium63 lol, nope its not code, its easy, has drop down boxes to choose sensors/lights/times etc

@noe43117 For the price and for the sophistication of the devices and what can be done it seems a better solution for the DIY type of person. Like, why do I need to spend $35 for a wi-fi garage door opener when this is $$30 and can do multiple garage functions for me, like warming it up in the mornings. The only issues I see is having to run wires from it all over the place.

@francium63 suppose it will be handy for a few applications in one area, wouldnt be too bad in a garage, but round the house etc maybe be better with single or dual ch switches, these units work with e we link app, you can flash different firmware on them, ive flashed all mine with esp easy, and have device handlers loaded into smartthings ide, so all switches show up in smartthings and actiontiles and work spot on

@chancy LOL. I found out one day that Google can interpret what you really want. My wife yelled "Hey Google - turn the f_ing living room light off! " and it did. Smart Google - smart for your own good!

Lights (bulbs and/or switches), locks, thermostat, garage door, door bell. Still have to make my ceiling fans smart (I purchased the switches ages ago, but I’m lazy).

Garage Door and Front Door lock. Teenagers don't know how to lock a door at night. Many times I've gotten up in the morning to find front door unlocked.

@lasonyalasorella190 I would lock the doors and leave a tent in the yard for them.

@marketable44 it was one or the other, just depends on how old you are, which I don’t know so I guessed. But either one is the best alarm system known to humankind. Especially when you don’t need them to be.

I am still getting started so I don't really have anything "smart" beyond my ecobee connected to @georga, which I never use that way. I have occupancy sensor switches for our laundry room, 2 bathrooms, and 2 garages. Have manual push a time 5min, 15min. Fan timers in two bathrooms. Have a calculation table sunset timer for the porch lights, and daylight & motion sensor lights on the garage corners, and a few manual timers for a kids bedroom night light and our backyard perimeter lights. So smarter than having to switch things manually, but still dumb and not connected.
