Anyone using the Brilliant switch and can comment on it? I'm rewiring my basement lights and splitting one circuit of lights into two and need to add a switch. The bulbs are all Sylvania Lightify and I have a SmartThings hub. I need to add a new switch to a wall, and I'm considering adding a Brilliant switch. The added features would be perfect in the new location.
Anyone using the Brilliant switch and can comment on it?

Those fricken switches are expensive! They look really nice, though. I’m sure they work much better than the Wink Relay that’s pretty much dead.

@invoice Yeah, I'm only planning on 1 or 2, so I can justify the cost.

Let us know how you like them, I’m curious. And good luck with the install!

I asked them about compatibility, as it does look cool, but I was told that it only works with a small handful of systems.

@cards What systems? As long as it works with SmartThings and/or Zigbee, it should do the job. I know it pairs with Google/Nest.

@vitriolic31848 I know it won't work with my ISY-944i, and control4. Basically it won't work with the better systems  They were advertising on FB for a long time. Lots of info if you can dig up their ads.

I will be but I have to figure out how I can control this fan.

@suppositious6574 would a bond hub work for the fan?

@ium not sure. I haven’t heard of that. I’ll look into it. Thanks

It will work with ST. Go to Smart Home Solver on YouTube. Reed talks about the Brilliant switch with ST.

Would love to see a diy option for this.

@sudor48 it is DIY if you can do basic wiring

J. T. Pruitt oh I’m talking a diy touch panel switch. Not just the connecting the brilliant switch. I don’t consider wiring up a consumer product diy

Those looks incredible. I would almost buy a hub just for these. Been getting away without one so far. This is why I want a hub. A very simple control that my family can find all the essentials on easily. In a couple key spots. Wow.
