HomeKit here and new to smart lighting etc. Should I go with Lutron, Leviton, or another system? I do have neutral wires, as the home is from 1987 and has a bundle of white wire inside each box. Longer version: I jumped into 'smart' things a week or two ago with an IKEA TRÅDFRI gateway and a few bulbs and remotes. It works beautifully with Siri and HomeKit, and I even got it working through Home Assistant / Hass. io, which I have been doodling with and will probably ultimately use due to the sheer integration with so many things. Anyway, I would like to make my exterior and entryway lights 'smart' and so am looking to replace the wall switches rather than putting in bulbs (exterior is four bulbs, chandelier is six). I do not need to dim either. The only other places in the home I see myself replacing dumb switches with smart is the kitchen and living room when I redo the ceilings, both of which I will want to be able to dim, and possibly the rear exterior light. Nothing fancy. just a few things to make life easier. The only thing is that I like the idea of Lutron for the kitchen and living room, for example, because of the Pico remote. As far as I can tell, no other system has such an (affordable) accessory. For example, Belkin's remote is $50, I believe!
