Does anyone have any experience with Atomi products?

Does anyone have any experience with Atomi products? I bought some outdoor color changing wifi smart string lights. I would like to see if I can set them up through a different app or direct to ST. The atomi app is clunky and if I unplug the lights I have to go through setup over again.  
Does anyone have any experience with Atomi products?

I have 3 sets of these still sitting in their boxes for over a year. Will let you know if I ever get around to mounting them lol
