I installed ST in January 2020 during the Classic to new app transition. Some things worked MUCH better in classic, others did in the new app. Now I have them in both. It seems I’m losing some functions from the classic side. Is there a way to transfer my automations? Thanks

Actually automations is the one thing I really like about the new app. In Classic there were routines that I didn't like too much. When most people talk of automations in classic they mean automations created in the SmartThings Smart Lighting app? If that's what you mean they are still there in the new app, under Smart Apps.

@dye I’m referring to routines in classic app. Those don’t seem to be working now.

I only have a couple of routines, which I rarely invoke. I'll have to check and see if they still work.

Routines will eventually be going away and they're working on a migration tool now. That tool is currently targeting users with the most basic of automations. You canneither wait for a migration toast to pop up in classic or trybyour hand ar recreating what your routines do in scenes and automations in NewApp. If you can, great! If you can't, try something like Smartlighting or WebCoRE. When you finally delete your last routine. The entire routines section of Classic WILL DISSAPPEAR AND YOU CAN'T GET IT BACK.

Smart lighting app is really cool because it executes locally. I hope they never take that away!

Most of your smartapps and any automations you have set with them should already be in both apps.
