Is it possible to define the order of actions and pauses between them in ‚rules‘? Just like it is possible in HomeKit.

In the new app you can set up multiple actions in an automation, with a delay for each. That should get you close,

@dye ok i see. Unfortunately, the smallest delay is 10secs. Gets me close, but not too close

@vaas542 you might look at webcore then

@vaas542 I agree with @dye on WebCoRE, but you also need to temper your expectations - Remember ST is a cloud system, due to the nature of cloud processing and network transit, you will have trouble getting reliable accurate delays on anything below a resolution of 5 seconds. It's possible, but I doubt it will be reliably faithful to your timings. ;) What's the use case?

@anatolia7046 thanks for your input. Use case would be house entrance where certain lights go on one after another once a motion sensor detects movement.

@vaas542 thats going to be. Difficult.

Lol! I have some scenes that supposedly turn on multiple lights at once, but they turn on in sequence. I think it's the nature of the beast!

You know, one workaround if you want to try it might be to turn on Lamp 1 and set a virtual switch 1. Then have an automation that uses Virtual switch 1 to turn on lamp 2 and virtual switch 2. Then another automation uses virtual switch 2 to turn on lamp 3. and so on. Personally I'd just turn them all on at once.

@dye nice idea. See, the source of my idea was that it is quite impossible to turn them on simultanously just like the hue App/bridge does. Even when i am using the hue bridge via SmartThings.

@dye good idea, however I think I'd just skip the virtual switches and use the trigger of the previous lamp/switch AND the original condition = true as a limiter. But it would have the intended effect I think.

@anatolia7046 yep, good idea

@vaas542 WebCoRE will do what you want. Your first trigger is if motion changes to active turn on light 1. Wait. Turn in light 2. Wait turn in light 3 etc.

@lixivium3 ok fine, thx. Where can I find a „getting started with webcore“?
