Best answer
Automations that are built into the SmartThings app are generally locally executed, so they will run even if you dont have internet. Whereas, WebCoRE automations are always cloud based and internet dependent. The best practice is to do anything you can locally. stuff like turning on lights with motion or at a certain time

Not if you ask me. The only reason for webcore in my eyes is for complexity that can't be accomplished with regular automations

Agree with above. I still use Webcore because I like that they are all in the same place. Most devices in my home won't run local yet anyway

Webcore is great if you want your home to be - kind of - intuitive and each room is in relation to other rooms etc.

There is a limit to the number of devices referenced in automations. It’s fairly low at around 200
