I know this has been asked before from searching the group but I’m struggling finding specific answers to my setup. I have wink, it’s been glitchy lately. I am sure this is a sign of my hub and/or company death. ‍♂️. Looking into ST hub as replacement. I have the following products and want to know if they will work with ST hub: 1) dozen or so GE Z wave dimmers 2) Cree connected light bulbs from Home Depot 3) EcoBee 4 thermostat 4) my Q chamberlain garage opener 5) Nest outdoor cameras 6) Kwikset z wave door lock 7) outdoor GE plug I think that’s all. I have a few generic (cheap) wifi plugs, but Alexa handles those. Are there other parts I need to keep things working?

Most of that should work. You may struggle with the Nest equipment, but there are ways.

All of that will work with no issues. Not sure on the Nest Cameras though.

Everything except Nest should work fine. Nest is Google's fault for breaking the Works with Nest API

Sadly, the Nests won’t - there is/was a great Nest integration until some months ago - then Google bought Nest and slowly shut down the integration. ( I have Nest cams and Nest Protects)

@ha google bought nest years ago, not sure what caused the sudden change in API integration.

@cootie10 Ok - didn’t know. It only affected us a few months ago

@ha p. s. that was just meant as informative sorry if it came off as rude.

@cootie10 All cool - thanks much!

@cootie10 The 'sudden change' is Google finished internal code security review, and said the Works With Nest API didn't meet their standards so decided to blindly shut it down like they do with more than half of their LABS projects. When end users quite literally SCREAMED at them in online forums, they relented but only for people who ALREADY had it setup.

Yes to all natively except for 4 and 5. But the myq can be added with a custom DH.

Device handler, basically some coding that allows us to utilize devices not natively supported by SmartThings. Usually done within the SmartThings IDE web interface. It's fairly straight forward to do.

@shrader thankfully all the coding is done and we just have to copy and paste it in
