Is 'transition' from the new to the classic app possible without running into problems? Just using it for connecting/controlling including connecting my Hue bridge.

For viewing and manual control, there is no migration. Just login as mentioned above. For built in apps and routines/automations, there is a banner that will appear in Classic to migrate those over when your account is ready

No problems here. It's not even really a migration. Just log in. For now if something doesn't work in the new app just use the old one for that particular thing.

I have found the new app very positive, especially when adding new devices.

I have a couple devices that are showing offline in the new app, but I can control them thru the classic app, they respond to Smart Lighting routines, I can control them from Alexa, but Alexa tells me the device is offline even though it controlled it, but they won’t respond to anything from webcore.

I swear every time I install new devices a mix of the new ones and some of the old ones stop responding to automations or to commands from the classic app.
