This week I gained 0. 5 lb. At first I was really bummed. But then I realized that's the fickleness of the scale. I decided to believe the NSV for this week. My shoes are loose. Wait! What? Is that even a thing? I thought I was going crazy. Prior to starting IPA I could only wear thin socks with my running shoes. Now I have to wear thick socks and it feels like I'm about to walk right out of my shoes.
This week I gained 0.5 lb.

Yes, inflammation is real, and when the swelling goes down (for those of us unlucky enough to swell in our ankles/feet) you will lose shoe size(s) in the process. I went from an 8. 5-9 to 7. 5-8

@tiphani that's interesting my left ankle would swell all the time but since I've been doing IPA it hasn't. I hadn't even thought about that. Wow!

One week out of nowhere my shoes, bra, and rings got loose when I was barely losing. Muscular changes are a thing!

Yes. I was always a size 6 in shoes but last year I had to buy an 8.

This is very reassuring to me who suffers the most from her feet, I describe them as elephant feet and they give me grief in much more than a way: it's almost impossible to find nice feminine shoes and they always hurt and are swollen so my aim is really to get a smaller size feet as well as a smaller size body.
