Uhhhh can you know longer add LIFX bulbs in the classic smart things app? I don’t see them as an option. When I go to the new app and click LIFX it tries to add them as a GE z wave device. Edit* I know that I made a typo above. I know the difference between no and know.

I had problems with my lifx bulbs a week or so ago, the new app took a day to re-register the bulbs that I’d lost control over. Fortunately all good now.

My LIFX stopped automating so I removed it, per support instructions, and I cannot seem to add it because, as the OP stated, LIFX is no longer listed as an option in the classic app.

I called support on the 21st. Guy on the phone said he didn’t see them in the supported devices list. I told them it showed up in the new app but when I click it to add, it takes me to some other device. I didn’t delete but reset up my automations and everything seems to be working. However, if I buy anymore it doesn’t appear I can add them. Support didn’t seem to know if they were supported or not.

And they still have them listed in their help documents with instructions on how to add them (that do not work). I couldn’t control them directly in the ST app but could in the LIFX app. Are they working in the new ‘ improved’ ST app?

they work in the new app and I’ve started moving automation over. But follow my screen recording below. when you try to add new bulbs it wont let you or in your case re-add your bulbs.

I haven’t tried the new app since shortly after it launched. Do I get into any trouble running both?

I have a couple devices that are showing offline in the new app, but I can control them thru the classic app, they respond to Smart Lighting routines, I can control them from Alexa, but Alexa tells me the device is offline even though it controlled it, but they won’t respond to anything from webcore.
