Also agree with Fire tablet. It is simple to just have fully kiosk run actiontiles and dakboard. If you have any tablets laying around almost any tablet would work.

You can do motion activated screen yes but you can’t do a screensaver if you do. So I rather have dakboard setup with a screensaver rotating pictures and providing the time and weather.

I have iPads. They work well. Can turn off the lock screen and passcode. Holds charge really well too. I’ve got a windows too but the charge is useless.

Im running actiontiles on a old iPad and Amazon fire HD 8. The fire HD 8 works pretty well, but since it's not running the full android OS you need to do a bit more work to get it all up and running.

I've got a Fire 8 and a Fire 7. The 7 is really sluggish, but functional. The 8 is pretty decent, but I wish it was a little quicker to respond.

Fire 8 x2 here with a wall mount from an Etsy seller called MakesByMike. From USA. Great mount with charger and slim hidden transformer.
