Question

I have a simple automation that dims the lights at 9. 30pm. With Webcore, is it possibly to get GA to prompt first? Something like If time = 9. 30pm Then prompt "Dimming lights, would you like to continue? " If yes, dim lights If no, do nothing

Not easily. But with a very convoluted set of pistons, virtual switches and Echo Speaks you can get very basic yes/no responses to work.

You can kind of do it, though not with a simple yes/no. Create a recurring reminder shortly before 930pm with GA. Then just tie the phrase, "Hey Google, don't dim the lights" to a ST virtual switch. Use the status of that switch to fire or not fire your piston.
