Hi All!  I got motion sensor and I did smart lighting rule to start light once motion detected and go off after specified time.Hi All! I got motion sensor and I did smart lighting rule to start light once motion detected and go off after specified time. However I am curious; what are best practices for motion sensor rules ? My questions :- What if I start light in day time by manually turning on/ the switch; How I can make it to go off after motion stops? How I can make rule so rule starts based on low light in the room? Thanks all for helping newbie in Smart-things world!

I go by sunset and sunrise. If it is between the two, then I activate the motion sensor. Sometimes I adjust one of the two if it is in the front or the rear of the house.

If your using the smart lighting app, your light should got off after x min that you have set up even if you switch it manualy on and there is the option of only if illumination is
