I stated looking into converting to the new Samsung app but I have two Hampton bay zigbee ceiling fans and an ambient weather station with custom device handlers that are not working either at all or not well (Ambient WS shows up but the devices are wrong).

I stated looking into converting to the new Samsung app but I have two Hampton bay zigbee ceiling fans and an ambient weather station with custom device handlers that are not working either at all or not well (Ambient WS shows up but the devices are wrong). Does anyone have any advice on how to proceed? These work perfectly on the classic app but as everyone probably knows Samsung is going to force everyone to migrate this year

Agree with @

I got the email saying functionality was catching up but no official cut off date for the Classic app

It didn't have a date for disconnecting it, but it seemed pretty forceful. I have both and the new app is still missing SOOOO many things! I would use it if forced to, but I couldn't recommend Smartthings to anyone with only the new app.

Thanksng I just reread the email and read all of the faqs offered. It doesn't say a date, but it seriously hints at it. Mentioned that certain features will soon no longer work in the old app.

They would be crazy to discontinue the Classic app before getting at least 99% of the functionality sorted for the new app. Since it's not even close, I would expect the Classic app to continue for quite some time. The new app was first released a long time ago

I need an outlet and a smart app that will trigger when power to a device is turned on (not when the outlet is turned on, but the device - TV that is plugged into it is powered up).

I have a couple devices that are showing offline in the new app, but I can control them thru the classic app, they respond to Smart Lighting routines, I can control them from Alexa, but Alexa tells me the device is offline even though it controlled it, but they won’t respond to anything from webcore.
