My konnected alarm panel is connected via smartthings. I run both classic and the new version. This morning the alarm was accidentally tripped. After disarming the system via SHM I noticed that while the classic version showed the alarm activity the new version did not. In fact if you look at history under the new version their is no history of it occurring. Classic would always display a red background in the app to show it was triggered. Is this feature not working in the new app?

SHM in classic and STHM in New are two completely separate entities and are not linked to one another. It's recommended you setup one or the other. (the rest of this is based on reading in the community site and there may be better info) However because I do not think Konnected can connect to STHM in New yet you're either stuck just using SHM in classic for those features or I seem to remember some creative folks have setup virtual switches and automations to somewhat sync state the two. (when searching, people using the alarmserver/EVL 3/4 solution are basically in the same boat because STHM does not support direct manipulation of state through a smartapp (yet? )) Personally if I were a Konnected user I'd stay on Classic for those features until it's working as you expect.

I dont think Konnected controls STHM/SHM state. It only provides the sensors to it. Those devices should work just as well with new app STHM as it does with Classic SHM.

@crabstick4604 so in that case it's the standard uninstall all SHM rules and then install STHM and create new rules, correct Jimmy?

@anatolia7046 right, assuming he wants to move to the new app. But unless you want to tinker, may as well wait until you get the message for the automatic migration.

@field did you also setup automations in the new app to arm/disarm STHM?

@field then STHM in the new app won’t be armed unless you do it manually.

@anatolia7046 stay with the classic I had nothing but trouble and false alarms with the new version and konnected alarm. Working just fine with classic. As the old saying goes If it isn’t broken don’t fix it!

@field correct. I would remove one.
