My first Button based routines seem a little unreliable. They work 80-90% of the time, but that’s not good enough. Do people build in a confirmation action? For example, I set my button up in the garage near my garage door opener, so when we’re about to leave, we open the garage door, and hit my smartthings button. This locks all the other doors, and turns down most of the lights, saving us from walking all over the house to button it up manually. But I want to KNOW the routine was triggered, so I was considering adding one to the end a light flicker of the garage lights or an Alexa announcement “ok, the house is locked up”. Do others do this or have better ideas?
