Question

Finally getting around to replacing a few really old Wemo switches and need something that will track energy use, are these still the best switches?

That one will work, but since it’s WiFi it won’t help strengthen your zwave or zigbee mesh. SmartThings has a zigbee model that can do this.

@hakan cool! One other thing, if it matters, the WiFi plug won’t run local. Only in the cloud.

Yup, thanks. I have around 130 devices and just haven't been paying attention to anything new in a couple years.

They can't track energy without a firmware update. Can't update without their hub . Don't buy it
