Last one.  I have a GE switch that I put in my master bedroom closet.Last one. I have a GE switch that I put in my master bedroom closet. My wife and I are manually turning on the light switch. There is an automation that you can set to turn off the switch after so many minutes. I set it but it only seems to run one time. I thought that if you set it, it would work every time. It seems dumb that I would have to set it every time the switch gets used. Any thoughts?

You can do it is smart lighting using the Power Allowance Exceeded.

Is that in the new app. How would you set it up?

Swap to WebCoRE and setup a better automation. Works wonders compared to the smart lighting app.

I got into WebCoRE big time. I had to back off because it was causing my family all kinds of confusion almost to the point of tearing out all of my smart stuff. I am trying to do more in the app which is easier for my family.

@sporades70699 why not write the code better so that there's no more confusion

WebCoRE will do this based on an IF light stays on for X minutes then turn off. Very easy piston.
