The thing is it's 240 here in Sweden, doorbell 2 is for sale at 100. All I want is a notification when someone rings the doorbell with live view. Not interested in anything else since I'm gonna be running a separate camera system :)

With the Pro you also have some camera pre-roll when you get clips from events in front of your door. With the battery operated types you typically miss whatever actually initiated the motion event. Not having a battery to manage is wonderful.

Just make sure you hardwire it. Pain in the butt charging them. Batteries get rubbish after a couple of years (like all batteries)

I love Ring products. I have several all integrated with ST. They are the foundation for a lot of my Automation’s. They trigger, lights, routines, Alexa messages and more. Works great!
