Hey guys, my router/modem went offline because my breaker for the room tripped (only 1 tripped in the entire house) . i plan to setup the failsafe wan with a prepaid sim card, do you guys have any failsafe wan routers you recommend and what device are you using to connect to it with a prepaid sim? Thanks in advance, I lost 8 years worth of saltwater fish because my power shut off on my fish tank (had 2 UPC 1000VA but those didn't last 7 days)

I've done something similar with an ASA5500, one ISP connection is to my home network and the second ISP is to my neighbors wifi. He has the same with my ISP as his backup. We are on different ISPs Then an SLA rule to swap between the two if necessary. A wifi bridge makes the connection between his wifi and my firewall.

Only one room popped the breaker which happen to be the same room the modem/ and fish tank were in. I plan to move modem to a different location, but I wanted to also have a failsafe plan so that I can monitor through smart thing if my power is on (fish tank power) I also have a battery powered camera monitoring the tank so that will let me know if the power is off or not visually.
