So I somehow deleted the routines section in smartthings classic. I tried to call Support at about 4 p. m. central time and it said they were closed. Are they closed because of coronavirus? Is there anyway to fix it without them?

So the bad news is, if you deleted the last routine in your configuration, it's operating as designed. They aren't allowing new routines to be created as part of the push to NewApp. So once the last routine is gone, *poof* goes the entire routines section. The ONLY workaround I know of (if it still even works, I think they were closing the loophole) is to find an archived copy of an older classic client (pre 2. 18. x), uninstall yours, then install the old version and try to create a NEW routine there, then re-upgrade. If that still doesn't work (and the last time I saw anyone try was November) then you're probably out of luck. As this is intended behavior as part of the push to new - doubtful support will offer that.

The replacement functionality is 'Automations' and 'scenes' in newapp.

@deni87 Scenes work fine with GH, automatons don't but they're really not meant too

I just created a scene and tested it with Google and it worked fine. When I switched my routines to the new app I used automations. But scenes would do the same thing I believe. I might switch mine to scenes so I can control them with Alexa.

Will we need to re-create the routines from classic to the new app as automations and scenes or will they convert? I just DL the new app and noticed they are missing. If they won’t convert then I wanted to get a jump on creation
