I have to say the Bond Bridge is awesome! I have one question, I can't seem to control the speeds (Low, Medium and High) or even percentages with Alexa. Alexas reply "Livingroom fan doesn't support that". However, in Smartthings I can change the speeds. Am I missing something?

I don't know about the bond bridge, but with GE Fan Dimmers, I have to tell Alexa to set the fan to 25, 50 or 75%. For the GE Dimmers, low is 1 thru 33%, Medium is 34 to 66 and High is 67 to 100. Give it a try.

Does it respond to "increase" or "decrease" ? e. g. "Alexa, increase the livingroom fan. " or "Alexa, decrease the livingroom fan by thirty-three percent. "

Try "Alexa, set fan speed to 1 (or 2 or 3). " I believe that was what I had to do with mine, but will double check.

It depends on the fan. My living room fan will allow percentage with Alexa. The bedroom fan is high , medium , low.

Can you see what it has in place for the fan device in the Alexa app? Is it listed as just on/off or do you see the percentage representation also that mirrors what SmartThings is reporting?

I thi k that's why it's not allowing you to do speed adjustments. I think you'll have to change the devices type designation but sadly I wouldn't know what to suggest for this bond scenario. But it has to register in Alexa as a "dimmable" device switch from SmartThings

typically it would have to be checked/changed in the IDE. My best suggestion is to see if maybe others who have a bond have a particular device type associated with their fans

Can you create scenes in SmartThings for the different fan speeds? If you can, the scenes will be available in Alexa after a discovery.

The Bond app integrates with Smartthings and shows Fan speed, but the Alexa app shows only the On/Off for the Smartthings fan devices. (The light too. ) A quick alternative is to install the Bond Home skill into Alexa. It works well and has both % speed and "increase" and "decrease" fan speeds capability.

Took the plunge and bought a new hue hub due to hitting the limit of devices on "bridge 1" Hue app is a bit rubbish at management of devices spanning two hubs, but trusty SmartThings to the rescue.
