Canadian people, Wich smoke detector compatible with smartthings and follow Canadian standard do you use? I have 2 in 1 first alert zcombo but they don't have Canadian standard.

and you connect via ifttt? If yes, do you see the detector in the smartthings app like normal zwave device?

if you dont already have Nest connected you cant. Google killed the Works with Nest API. (and if you do have it connected dont change ANYTHING else it wont continue to be connected. )

no you can't not without very unsupported workarounds that may disappear at any moment. I personally wouldn't use them.

yes, Nest but I've had them connected for almost two years. Like I said if it was connected prior it still works, you can't connect new. If there was an alternative that had the same features I would have already moved. Google has absolutely trashed the interoperability of Nest devices.

I know that from Home Assistant (HA) you can integrate it with SmartThings (ST) and control all your ST devices from there but is there a way to do the opposite.meaning that through some integration have ST control all HA capable only devices and include them on ST automations, scenes and routines?
