Until recently, I was using the PetNet feeder. It worked with Alexa/G-home and with ST via IFTTT. Unfortunately, the company went under due to covid and their servers went inactive, making it almost a brick. We started an FB group for owners and DIY folks to try an figure out a work around if you’re interested.

What kind of pet? I have a Super Feeder for one cat. It’s absolutely amazing. Problem is that it’s not smart. and that is why it’s so great. when it comes to feeding, it’s bullet proof. It feeds for a predefined amount of time when electricity is provided. I made it smart by using a normal SmartThings plug. but I’m sure you could cut the plug and use anything else that controls a relay.

I didn't realize wifi plugs or what not can be set for seconds

@gereron the feeder feeds for seconds. If you give it electricity for one hour it only feeds for the first x seconds. I have the WiFi plug turn on for 5 minutes at breakfast, and 5 minutes for dinner. The feeder only feeds the first five seconds that it’s on.
