This isn't ST specific, but I'm hoping someone has encountered this problem and has a solution. I've had a GE switch (2-way) installed for 2 or so years and it's worked great for that time. Noticed this morning it hadn't came on with my morning automation. Switch to the app and I notice it turned off as soon as the automation came on. When I try it manually nothing works, however when I turn it on through the classic app I hear a pop and the blue light comes on for a split second and goes off. What is the life of these switches? Think its dead? Any help would be appreciated!

I don’t have any GE switches but I’ve seen similar bizarre behaviour with my Zooz switches lately. I suspect it’s something to do with the new app. I have automatons set up in the new app but I have to go back to classic to set up the switches, the new app always shows he wrong settings! I wish they’d get their act together at ST!

@dye I’m using the classic app still and the lights won’t turn on manually using the paddle.

@barbosa I don’t have GE, on my switches there is a setting to enable/disable local paddle control.

Do a search on here and see how many have had GE switches go belly up.

@hinder that’s what I was reading. Figured that may be the case but had some hope there may be a fix
