Hi all. I’m just about to enter the world Of ST.Hi all. I’m just about to enter the world Of ST. I have good wifi coverage throughout my house. Do I need to get the ST hub, of is the ST v3 going to be fine?

Best answer
Get the V3 hub and connect to your router with an Ethernet cable. Avoid buying Wi-Fi devices for your automation. You need to a plan to build Zwave and Zigbee networks. Powered devices such as switches and plugs act as routers. Be sure to get both Zwave abc Zigbee powered devices to support the battery powered ones. Again stay away from Wi-Fi where possible.
