I've got a Samsung button that's decided to go offline. Is there a way to reset devices without deleting it and re-pairing?

Replace the battery. Mine died and still read 47% battery.

@linderman Interesting. That's what mine says. It's not that old though

@womanhood2397 Mine was about 10 months old. I've heard others on here that had dead batteries that also read 47%

@linderman Tell a lie, mine's 44% but close enough!

They're zigbee, so you can just repair it without doing anything else, it will look the same to the system.

Mine does that every so often. Take out the battery for a minute, verify its dead via voltmeter and not what the app says. If good, re-install and usually comes back online. It may tell you battery is 70% or more, but don’t be fooled. These are notorious for just dropping out. Voltmeter 2. 8v or more is good. If you don’t have a voltmeter, you should get one. SmartThings devices are notoriously bad at battery reporting. Voltmeter will save you lots of money on Batteries and time wasted thinking your battery is good. You can usually get a Crapsman brand for under $10 on sale. I have over 100 devices, and learned this the hard way.

@hokkaido Good shout. I've got a multimeter so I'll give that a try if the re-pairing doesn't do it

I find it worth checking the IDE when devices are reported as offline in the app. Sometimes they show as HUB_DISCONNECTED there and rebooting the hub from the IDE usually fixes that. Otherwise for Zigbee devices you can go through the pairing process without deleting them first.
