Has anyone put either a door entry sensor and or light on a animal door?

That’s what I was deciding on a door window sensor also hooked up to alarm. Just wish it could tell difference from a Dane coming in or human. Or if a pi can w/facial body rec work.

We have a motion sensor in the dog room to make the lights come on when they enter. Keeps them from being in the f dark when they come in from the back yard.

I have an Arlo camera outside that triggers lights when the dog goes out at night

Yes. have one mounted on the pet door. It turns the outside floodlights on when they go out at night.

A motion sensor in the entryway to the garage from the house. At night it turns on low level lighting over the area where the cat box is.
