Question

So supposed to be flying to Thailand tomorrow, can’t get hold of Qatar and our flights have not yet been cancelled. Our insurance said to get hold of Qatar to get a refund. We have submitted 2 requests the them online. But heard nothing back. What do I do? If we don’t sort today we will just loose all our money!

Have you tried tweeting them , a lot of firms will reply to social media as it’s so public

@mateo8 no exactly , keep tweeting them saying you want a refund , it’s worked in the past got me when they ignored emails etc

Did you book flights direct with the airline.

Send emails. Atleast you have proof and a paper trail then to say you tried to contact

@childers2232 we have been contacted by lycrafly who we booked through and they asked us to fill in a table on the email but we can’t as there is no attachment. I have replied via that email like they asked so guess just gotta wait

I contacted them twice and it took a while to reply bit I received this response last night . I was due to fly Friday . Hope this helps x
