Wouldn't advise Pattaya for family hol, Phuket much better. More things to do and not so much sex in your face there either. We go from London but use Expedia for flights and agoda or booking. com for hotels

I’d book flights on sky scanner and try a few different airports. I’m from Newcastle but was £200 cheaper to fly from Edinburgh. We booked our accommodation through booking. com and done buy now pay later so you can see what’s around on google maps then if you don’t like it cancel it and book another

Depends on what is your nearest Scottish airport. Glasgow and Edinburgh have flights that change in the middle east. We fly from Aberdeen and change in London and then direct to Bangkok with thai airlines. We book everything ourselves. Flights through skyscanner or the likes and hotels through booking. com or opodo. Domestic flights in Thailand can be booked through somewhere else and you can get the option of the cheaper carriers. Hua hin is lovely and only a few hours on the train from Bangkok

@sclerodermatous6 aberdeen is our closest we only ever flew from glasgow as at the time was cheaper than aberdeen

Yes it can be cheaper but if you factor in time and money spent during a stop it probably works out much and such the same

Could also look into using (top cash back) for better deals
