Hi everyone.  Another question—what do you use on pancakes and waffles?Hi everyone. Another question—what do you use on pancakes and waffles? I bought and tried some Lite syrup from Ald’s (Aunt Maple’s)that I wasn’t crazy about. It was flat on flavor. I won’t buy it again, but I hate wasting almost a whole bottle.

Get maple flavoring. Make sugar syrup with xylitol or erythritol and add add the flavoring. Can't promise it will measure up to the real thing but it might work.

The syrup is the problem-high in pts; my solution is take fresh or frozen fruit like blueberries, add 1 tsp of real maple syrup ( 1 pt) or 2 tsp (2 pts) and freshly ground nutmeg, heat in microwave until juice releases from fruit and blend with the syrup. Delicious toppings for pancake and waffle, so filling also.

Add a little artificial sweetner to it. I buy the liquid stevia a d keep it in my purse for when I go out for iced tea or drinks. I have found if I am out and splurge on pancakes and use sugar free syrup I can add a small amount of it in the sf syrup and it tastes a whole lot better.

Regular maple syrup!, use sparingly and some frozen wild blueberries. Put berries in a small bowl and a couple of teaspoons of syrup and microwave and it’s delicious and 2 points and nothing artificial
