I am a lifetime member after 20 years. I only count calories now. the new program is beyond my comprehension.

@minda How many calories do you allow yourself a day
by (740 points)
@minda I think it’s simple with the app.

@minda the green program is like what we did 20 years ago

@minda I stayed with points plus. It always worked for me. Never liked Smart Points

I lost 85 lbs this past year using the old points with the slider since my mom still had all the information. The thing I don't like about the app is that it's making everyone dependant on it to figure out the points, where with the older programs, you learned how to read a food label. I don't even need my slider to figure out points since I know roughly 50 cal. is a point and if it has over 10 grams of fat, I need to bump it up another point (again, this is on an older program). I'm not saying the newer programs are bad, it would just be nicer if you could decipher their algorithm easier to figure out points without needed to scan it first.

Yes, when you sign up you are told what plan is recommended for you, how many points you get, and you have access to the database that has foods in it so you count your points. Some people do it on their own; there are some similar apps and ways to just search for points.

No, you can get all info you need on Pinterest but the app sure helps. If you can’t afford the app you can get tons of help and info off this fb page

WW keeps coming out with "New Plans" so they can justify the cost, it's really simple take a week write down everything you eat and calories consumed. Lots of info online of what you should consume.

I’m sure if you Google you will find the info. I am a WW member because I like the resources such as the meetings and app. If you feel you can do it on your own, you don’t need to spend the money.

By paying for a monthly subscription I found myself more dedicated to tracking because I’m paying for it. I’ve stopped and tried doing it on my own and no weight was lost over 3 months. So I’m back on and down another 10lbs!

App and meeting are worth it 100% to me. The meeting gives me accountability. I signed up at the beginning of January when the deal was first month free and fees waived. If you loose 10 lbs you get a second month free. Signed up for 6 months because I figured it would motivate me to stay on for 6 months.
