I used to struggle with this! Especially on weekends as there is always family dinners that I have very little control over. So I weigh in on Friday before the craziness begins. I track everything. When Monday comes around, I know how many weekly points I have left and I track a day ahead so that I am more likely to stick within my daily points! Working for me so far! I reward myself using the remaining weeklies when I see progress!

I started with Monday as my weigh-in day. It was always a wake-up moment. If I’d had a good week, I was motivated to keep it up. If I’d had a bad week, I was scared into getting back on track. So, I changed my weigh-in day to Saturday. It helped me.

I don’t look at the weekend any differently then the week day. Same with celebrations and vacation. I treat myself a bit everyday so that I don’t feel like I need to go overboard in other days

Make Friday your weigh in day, you can relax your rules a bit on the weekend, then all week to be good.

When I am tempted to eat something I shouldn't I ask myself "will that food taste as good as losing weight feels?" And the answer is always no and I move on.
