So I haven’t been on WW since the old points plan (I think also called Momentum Plan), the one where you take calorie/fat/fiber to figure the points. I did it twice and lost over 20lbs each time. A couple years later I tried the new points program where you eat all the veggies and fruits you want, didn’t lose a pound. Now I see there are colors? What is this new method? Disclaimer, I have always gotten all my info off the internet/bought the weight loss kits of eBay, never joined WW. Thanks

I dont' think there was ever a program where you could eat ALL the fruits and veggies you want. They were considered unlimited but also common sense reigned just like now with 0 points foods.

Join, go to meetings, track food, follow plan, lose weight.

Why not join? Yes it costs money but it’s worth it. At least give it a try.

In the past I never joined either. Used hand me down materials. But I’m an app person, so joined as an online only member now. The three colors are programs from the past. They all have a form of zero point foods. You were probably on the green plan before. Still need to be mindful of eating too many zero point foods.

I think it would easier and more effective to do some research. For example, Google WW Smart Points Color programs, and the specifics pop up. It’s a lot to explain right here.

I too was on the old system and it worked so I'm counting my points now the old way and it's working again for me! I lost 28 lbs and kept it off until an injury pushed me off track two yrs ago. I love the ideas and tips on this page, I just figure out the old points!

I did the old system back when my teens were babies and lost weight. Now I’m back and on the purple plan and losing weight just as well as the old plan. Plus now there’s the added bonus of the app with the barcode scanner and the recipe builder.
