Meals for today.  I wanted a bagel with real peanut butter.Meals for today. I wanted a bagel with real peanut butter. So I had it. Sometimes, you just gotta have the real thing. Totally fine cuz then you plan the rest of your day around it. Lunch was going to be a tuna salad made at home which would have been 0 points. But Joe felt like Subway. I was going to get a sandwich but decided to get a tuna salad. I figured it would be 0 points as well without dressing. Nope. Dummy me didn’t look it up until after Joe had already gotten it. It was 7 points without dressing. Let me tell you though. It was a delicious salad! I could have one every day! Have any of you had them? If not, definitely try it! I knew I’d go over points a little. Dinner was a stuffed pepper skillet. Absolutely yummy! Recipe called for 1 c of Parmesan cheese and mozzarella. I used 1/4 c Parmesan and 1/2 c of reduced fat cheese to lower the points a little. Used lean ground beef so points came out to 3 points for a serving. Went over by 3 points. No biggie! I have grapes if I want dessert.  Also went for a walk today. Didn’t exercise over the weekend. But I’m still going to keep exercising.

Looks like you’re going strong I also started February 1 have you lost any weight yet? I’m down 2 pounds but I’ve been doing it almost 2 weeks I’m on the green plan 30 points a day I feel like I should stick with the green but maybe try doing 25 points to get things moving faster

@sesquiplane thanks! First week, I gained a pound. I knew I’d gain because I started exercising every day. My body tends to retain water when exercising. This week is going good so far. My weigh in day is Friday. I’m trying to get more water in. I did a sneak peak and I’ve lost that pound and one more so far. With purple, I get 19 points. But it’s easy to stay within my points because there are a lot more zero point foods. I’m just trying to be careful with the complex carbs. Even though they help to burn more calories, I tend to go crazy with carbs. I’ve toned it down this week. Not having them with every single meal. It really does take learning how your body is with foods. Sounds like you’ve got a good plan! Here’s to us both being losers this week!

@unwilling Yes we are both just starting out and I think it does take time to figure out what works for our bodies I also love bread crackers popcorn but I find on the days that I have that and count the points I don’t lose at all sometimes I even gain so I’m now trying to stick to more chicken vegetable salad veggies and hummus good luck on your weigh in on Friday
