I have 38 points left for dinner and was planning a salad. Weigh in is tomorrow and I don’t want to do anything stupid. Any suggestions?

Grilled chicken and beans over salad with some cheese maybe? That would be a very filling low point meal, depending on what color u r doing.

I’d do a hearty grilled chicken or shrimp salad. That’s a lot of points left but good luck

Never heard of anyone having sooo many points left for dinner? How many for the entire day and what color?
by (1.3k points)
@buckshot you have so much flexibility with 38 pts. Don’t starve yourself to weigh less at the scale. You probably won’t lose much by not eating.

That’s a lot of points left over. You need to eat more of them that’s why they’re there. You can only carry over 4

@buckshot I’m not saying you did bad. But now you can have an awesome dinner & even wine if that’s your thing  enjoy your points

@buckshot I understand familiarity lol I eat the same breakfast every working day cuz it works. But branch out explore get creative! This is a lifestyle not a diet so ask yourself “can I eat this way for the rest of my life? ” Don’t let it get boring or a list of “can’t haves” Have fun

Eat a big steak with veggies. Good protein, some fat. Not greasy junk.

Eating a salad the night before a weigh in wont make you lose just like eating a piece pie before wont make gain. It doesnt work that quick

38 ? You must not eat breakfast, lunch or snacks. I guess you could be eating all 0 points until evening. Whatever works for you. Wish I didn't like carbs during the day.

@discomfort8 Buchheit maybe the 38 is including weeklies? As it’s weigh in tomorrow
by (7.7k points)
@discomfort8 Buchheit it is most important for you to understand the difference between daily total allowance and weekly points. Be sure to get that explained to you for it will affect your weight loss if misunderstood.
by (1.1k points)
@quinone4 sure, if mentioned that we be the easy answer.
by (1.5k points)
@discomfort8 Buchheit i don’t use my weeklies. I was just wondering if this might be the answer
by (1.1k points)
@quinone4 I don't use my weeklies either, BUT I figure a few( 2) almonds, (2) crackers and (2) pretzels I grab in my tough time of day uses up some of my weeklies. So bad!

Add cheese, high protein, light weight, high in points, grape and even some nuts.

I don’t think anyone gets 38 points

I started out at 45 points a day. It's based on age, height, weight etc.
