I really like following WW but I have the hardest time with dinner and planning dinners. What are your most helpful tips for staying on track during dinner? I use the blue plan.  Thanks!

Have healthy low point food on hand. That's what helps me the most.

As silly as it sounds, I try and make meals that I look forward to. Like super cheesy meals, copycat recipes, etc. I also tend to save my points so I can go heavy at dinner if I want that mac n cheese and chickie nuggies. I hope this helps!

Fill the plate with salad / veg before you add anything else. Have a zero pony’s soup for starters or as a snack. drink water before and after your meal

Is it an ideas issue or enough points issue? If it’s not enough points trying start you day with dinner I can always find low point breakfast and lunch. Longs as you keep it with the 24 hours. Worked great for me

@dm7195 I think an idea issue. If I can have an idea then preplan that helps but it’s hard for me

I take one afternoon a month and plan a "loose" menue for the month. Then each week when I make my shopping list I check that

Grilled chicken breasts, a couple vegetables, and maybe a salad (fat-free or low-fat dressing) is a popular one for us. Also, a lot of soups can be just a few points, but filling. Ground chicken can make most meat recipe low in points (meatloaf, meatballs, etc. ). I plan our dinner menu the night before, so then I know how to budget breakfast and lunch. I often try to make one of those two meals zero points (eggs, fruit, chicken, raw veggies). Sometimes I do 3-point popcorn for lunch. Hope this helps.

I do meal prep. When I'm back to work it will be on Sunday afternoons. I need to be careful with what I eat due to stomach issues so I'm eating bland foods for now. I found a really good turkey pastrami that I like to snack on.

Keep it simple, grilled meats , veggies , sheet pan meals Have precooked quinoa , brown rice , Make ahead or freeze leftover soups , stews I rarely cook after work Too tiring for me and that’s when I go back ff track
