Best answer
WW makes some oatmeal cups that are 3 points and not bad

@betz391 i saw those didn’t know of good:)

@grundyism I think they’re pretty good and low point. I also turn it into banana bread mini loaves and it’s still 3 points on the blue plan.

I do! I buy the “less sugar” one

@malamute have you ever used ww container ones?!
by (510 points)
I haven’t tried those. I just buy the Quaker ones and throw some fruit in with it

Yes I have eaten it and the apples and cinnamon. I’m not a fan of lower sugar ones. Just count the points and adjust elsewhere

Yes. I eat Quaker instant oatmeal packages a couple times a week and count the points. I like to switch things up for breakfast so I don’t get tired of eating the same thing all the time. On days I eat oatmeal I try to eat a low point lunch to maintain my points.

@grundyism what plan are you following?
by (1.1k points)
@micron I just started again today. Thinking blue. I’d like to do green but afraid I won’t always truly track my points or when cooking something what know the true points . so blue

Oatmeal I have found is a very healthy and sustainable breakfast. I make a baked oatmeal. 2 points on blue. 1 Cup of Old fashioned oats, 4 banana's mashed, 4 eggs, 2 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp vanilla, fruit of choice. I use blueberries and strawberries. put into an 8x8 sprayed dish and bake 350 degrees for 35 minutes. cut into 6 servings and is 2 pts per serving. good luck!

They make a lower sugar version for 4 points. Better Oats makes a 100 calorie packet that is 3 points.

Why wouldn't you count it in your points? If you follow WW guidelines and remain persistent and consistent you'll reach goal and Lifetime. There is no magic. Just hard work everyday. I had oatmeal this morning. 3 points and I like oatmeal.

Why not make your own instant instead of using the packets. One half cup quick oats, a little salt, one cup water. Two minutes in microwave. Mash a banana with some cinnamon and mix in. 0 points on purple. Makes a big bowl, especially with the banana. Should keep you full for quite a while.

Does the banana and cinnamon sweeten it?
by (4k points)
@cervicitis If you use a ripe banana, it is kind of sweet. Or if you use any sugar-free substitute, you could add that if you prefer it sweeter. I believe the packets all have artificial sweeteners and flavors anyway.

I need to check. I love cinnamon swirls lol but just cant imagine it in porridge :-)

@cervicitis Sometimes I add pumpkin pie spice for even more flavor. It is really good.

Almost every day. Only equate apples and cinnamon this winter

I eat it every other day. Then the rest of the days I make a egg mcmuffin with velvita cheese and Turkey Sausage. The wal mart brand oatmeal has less points than the Quaker.

If you stay within your points you will. lose.

I don't but only because I don't like sweet cereals. However, if you like them, you track them and fit them into your over all healthy plan, why not!

During the winter months, (like now), I have a reduced sugar maple and brown sugar one almost every day (4 pts on blue), top it with plain FF greek yogurt (0pts) or FF vanilla Greek for 1 pt. I have been losing steadily
