I believe this is one thing that just about every overweight person has in common. It’s so common that if they have an emotional eater convention it would have a huge turnout.

Hell yes! Week before last, a friend needed my help, ended up in the hospital. I opened up a can of sweetened condensed milk. Wanted to just drink it, all of it. I settled for several heaping tablespoons. Was filled with regret, immediately threw it in the trash. Filling the void was all that made sense. One day at a time y'all! Keeping your hands busy helps

Almost all people who are overweight have it! Because eating is one of the way they enjoy and ignore their problems. it's psychological reason.

Yes. I gained 31 lbs in less than 2 yrs  got back on track 2 weeks ago, slipped up 3x, and Im starting therapy next week. Food does not judge, food does not talk back and food does not call us names. Food tastes good and it can be euphoric too. It is a tough addiction to beat because we need food to survive. We have to learn to "feed the machine" not the mind.
