I'm joining WW this week, what is best of the plans? I have 90 lbs to lose. On which will I lose the fastest?

I started on blue two weeks ago I have about the same amount of weight to lose and I’m already down almost 15 pounds. And I feel like there’s so many choices and I’m never hungry.

I have been on WW off and on a few years. I have made changes that I can and am living with. Don’t think of this as a diet. Think of it as a lifestyle. The weight is not falling off me, but it is staying off. As a wise friend told me: Move more, eat less. You will take an assessment to determine what plan might work best for you. Good luck on your journey to better health.

It's not a speed race we didn't gain this weight overnight or last month it was process and it will take some time to lose and our bodies and mind to adjust!

That’s not the way it works. Decide for yourself which fits your personality. If you feel that you can’t trust yourself with controlling portions of zero point foods because they are NOT unlimited and NOT free, then stick to green. Enough said. I’ve loved blue and it works for me but I’ve had to be very aware of not overeating the zero point foods.

Fast weight loss leads to lifelong metabolism slowing I. e. like medifast. These plans all of them are designed for 1/2 lb to 2 lb per week. The 3 plans are designed to take in the foods you like so take the quiz and as the journey continues and your food likes expand you might change plans during the process. Meetings are so important. Go and if you are shy, just listen. No need to speak up until you are comfortable. Remember, there is no shaming of people during the meetings. Best of luck.

All 3 programs have been fully tested and shown to help you lose about the same amount of weight statistically. Trust the science and choose the one you like and that seems to fit your lifestyle best. :)

I joined three weeks ago online and am on green. I am losing slow and steady. My doctor told me to just keep at it and weight loss is usually larger in the beginning due to water weight. I am a lifetime member that fell off the food wagon. WW is the only way for me and its a lifetime commitment. Patience!

It's not a race. It's a lifetime change. The plan is going to be different for each person, so you need to work with your leader or answer the questions online to determine your best starting point.

It's a lifestyle change not a fad. Slow and steady is what it takes. I had 90 to loose and I have about 30 to go. Its taken a bit for me. 1-2 lbs a week is average.

The three plans have the same results. Pick a plan that is the easiest to follow. Blue was my pick because I’m used to it. My friend likes green because she want the majority of what she eats to be tracked. Same results just a little different way to get there. Good luck

It took a while to gain the weight, so it will take a while to lose it. As everyone has said, 1-2 pounds per week is about average. I would start with green, where you track everything until you get the hang of portion control and healthy choices. Best of luck to you. It WORKS!

I switched to purple and it's a lot easier for me because I'm very bad at tracking. So now I just track the things that cost points instead of trying to track everything. I think it's all preference really. But get a print out of all the 0 point foods for whatever plan you choose and it'll make it easier to find things to eat.

It's not about losing the fastest - they are all equal - it's about what kind of foods you like to eat. Take the survey and then decide. I am doing purple and love it. And if you pick one plan and don't love it, you can always try another. Then do the work and exercise and you will loose the weight. But remember one thing, this is not a diet - this is a lifestyle change. Once you learn the right foods to eat, exercise and mental health you will take these skills forward for the rest of your life. Love Peg

It’s going to take time to lose 90 pounds. It won’t happen super fast. All the plans are set up for weight loss success so it really doesn’t matter which plan is chosen as long as you fully commit you’ll be good!

All three plans work--if you work the plan. Your choice should depend on (among other things) how good are you at portion control; how much do you want to track; what is your lifestyle, i. e. do you mostly eat at home or go out a lot; what types of foods do you normally eat. There is a YouTube video out there from someone named Barrett Pastor that asks a series of questions aimed to help you decide which plan might be best for you. It might be worth it for you to look at it. If you try one plan and it doesn't seem to be working, you are always free to change to a different one. Good luck on whichever plan you decide to use.

I know its hard but try not to focus on the scale too much. Focus on why you want to do this for you and your life. This can be sometimes a snails pace but remember slow and steady wins the weight race. The key is to find the plan that you feel works best for your lifestyle. WW is an awesome plan and if you follow it and allow it to change your eating brain, it will give you a Forever Healthy Eating Lifestyle.

If you want to lose fast, do Keto. Then you will gain it back. If you want to change your way of eating for life, do WW. It is not as fast, but you change your way of eating for life. All the plans work. None faster than the other. If you are just learning about portion control and healthy eating, I would suggest starting on green.

Honestly after losing 100lbs on ww years ago. It’s not about speed. It’s about learning how to eat in a way that lets you still enjoy food but make better healthier choices the majority of the time. I personally think the green plan is the only plan which sets people up for long term success. But when you join you will be able to take a quiz and determine what is best for you.

I’m down 98lbs in 10ish months and i have been blue the whole time. With that said, it may be a different plan for someone else. I think the plan you choose should reflect how you like to eat and what personally will keep you the most accountable.

It's not about losing weight quickly. It is about learning about portion control, eating healthy, eating what u want within reason and how u got heavy to begin with. Weight loss is not fast. If u lose 1-2 pounds per week you are doing great. Some lose it slower, and that is still great.

I'm on weight watchers now and it maybe be slow but it's a healthy way to eat. I went with the highest level of points to start with as it's easier for me to afford frozen foods over fresh. Fresh is expensive and goes bad quickly and I don't have a vehicle so I don't get to go to the store whenever I might need to.

They all work. Just see which one works best for you. I've lost 60 in 4 months on blue. but I've done this program a few times. Once as a teenager, again in my 20s and now post children. I've lost at different rates each time.

Once you’ve answered the detailed questions, the WW program will choose the right plan for you. I’m on Blue and I’ve lost 23. 5 lbs since January 2nd. I have 42 lbs left to reach my goal weight. It really does change your life. Good luck to you!

I lost a lot on the green program a few years ago. I am a stress eater and snackers, so I don't want too many free choices ( hard to control portions) for me. If you don't have that problem, I would try blue.
