Im brand new to ww and this is my first week. So far so good but I have a question on making bread dough. I’m counting the points for my baguette dough made from scratch, my pizza dough made from scratch and the ww 2 ingredient dough. The 2 ingredient dough is actually showing to have 1 point more than regular bread so what is the benefit other than ease to the 2 ingredient dough. All I see is that it has the added protein from the yogurt. 2 ingredient dough: 1 c self rising = 14 pt 1 c 0% fage yogurt = 2 pt Baguette: 1 c flour = 15 pt Salt = 0 Yeast = 0 Water = 0 Pizza dough total =16 pts (baguette points 15) + 1 tsp olive oil = 1 pt Am I missing something?

My understanding of the 2 ingredient dough is that it allows you to quickly make a small serving so you don’t have a lot of bread to deal with .

I dunno if this has anything to do with it but I commented on another post aboht this too. Not all self rising flours are good for ww 2 ingredient dough. Some are more points then others. I use walmart brand

Its 11 pts for 1 cup. Which is alot less then 14

The yogurt has to be triple zero for 0pts

@morie8123 doesn’t it just have to be fat free? My Danone fat free Greek yogurt is 0 points. The Kirkland fat free Greek yogurt is also 0 points

Yogurt is 0 points if it’s fat free and plain Greek.

@roca1 0% plain Greek yogurt is 0 points on blue plan. Not sure about other plans. Which color plan are you on?

@gorlicki just add 1 cup of gf flour to 1 1/2 t baking powder and 1/4 t of salt. Mix and there you have it, gf self rising flour. I make the two ingredient dough bagels this way all the time. They come out perfectly.

So fat free Greek yogurt is 0 on purple and blue and self rising flour is 12. What pizza dough has 0 points, you have to count the pizza dough plus the olive oil

@signore the pizza dough has the same amount of points +1 for the oil as the baguette. Sorry I should have been more clear

I think I will check out baguette recipe. Even though fat free greek yogurt has 0 pts it does have a fair amount of calories that you are not adding to the baguette recipe.

@correggio Doppke Horning I feel the same way about time. I have been making bread daily for my family. If I’m going to have a bread or pizza calorie than it better be 100% worth it and if. It’s just a matter of 1 point I will take quality of quantity.
