I need advice.  I started ww 2 months ago and I’m not having any success.I need advice. I started ww 2 months ago and I’m not having any success. First off, I turned 50 last year and starting the “change”. No matter how healthy I eat, I can’t lose. I actually gained 2 pounds. I stay within my points and I’ve been keeping track of my calories on my fitness app. I don’t (but never really have) exercise a lot due to my work schedule. I’m moving all the time but not sweating exercises. I’m just afraid it’s only going to get worse. Anybody else experience this? Ideas?

Can you share what a typical day looks like for you food-wise?

And maybe switch the plan. If one isn’t working try a different one.

I’m not weighing everything but I am tracking it all even 0 point foods. I’m drinking my water. I’ve switched my sugar to monkfruit sweetener. I usually have an Apple or orange for breakfast, most days salad with chicken for lunch and dinner is always meat and veggie. Snacks are ww snacks or sugar free pudding, jello and another fruit.

I would have a protein in the morning with the fruit. It doesn't seem like you are eating enough?

@crusado7 thank you.

I'm 54, post-menopausal. I started WW in July (for the 100th time). I am down 21 pounds! I have Hashimoto's which is a thyroid autoimmune disease. In the past I have had given up becusae it was only 21. but I'm in no rush, it took me many years to get that heavy and I am just moving forward. If I exercised and moved a lot more, then may I would be down more, but for me, I am good, I'm not stressing. Good luck to you! :)

I’m 47 and have had the same issues with not losing. WW has been awesome. Keep trying and review everything with a support person

Are you eating enough points? Water? I don't exercise much at all but am still losing. Maybe change plans (colors) for a couple of weeks.

Try more protein and are you getting sleep? Sounds like you work a lot and I think sleep is so important of course along with movement. blue is working great for me.

I'm 52 and I did realize that your body needs time to adjust to the differences. Also don't over think everything and expect right this minute results. I'm down 26 pnds. And happy with that and still going

I’m a bit older and the only way this works for me is to exercise every day.

You said you were keeping track both ways, weight watchers points and calories. How many of each are you eating?

Weight loss is more about what you eat rather than exercise. Exercise is great but many who exercise their fannies off aren’t losing like they feel they should. Idk.

@crusado7 Fad I agree! I clean homes all day for work and walk the dog and go to the gym a few days a week and none of that helps me lose. It’s all about what I put in my mouth

I’m 58 and have lost 110 lbs since 9. 17. 18. If you follow the program & track everything you put in your mouth (use weeklies as needed), drink & exercise a reasonable amount (without obsessing) you too can do it! The plan works. Best wishes!

It helps if you keep track of sodium because it’s in EVERYTHING - even ff milk!

I went with my doctor who started a, weight loss program. I did shakes as well as Bars . Drank a lot of water when I was Under Drs. Care. Eat Lean and Green . Dr told us small meals. 5 small meals. I have a goal weight. I've been at a plateu 5yrs. Still on a Life time journey. Not a diet. Best Wishes

Exercise isn’t the answer, but it helps. Water helped me get things going when I got stuck. I kept going to doctors to determine why I wasn’t losing. Being dehydrated made me have the metabolism of a 96 year old.

Biggest thing to keep in mind is that if you are overweight/obese you have to be physically active 200-300min a week compare to other special populations who's activity levels are lower around 150 min a week. I am 54 myself and I write my final exam today as a personal trainer if you like I can give you the info in regards to exercise
